About this Apprenticeship

Our HR Regional Partners (HRPs) and HR Assistants (HRAs) are known for their knowledge of HR programs, processes and tools. They act as the frontline consultants for our people managers, with the aim of creating a positive employee experience and offering high judgment advice on people matters. HRPs are seen as trusted advisors and subject matter experts, offering a knowledgeable and compelling point of view.

They collaborate with other key stakeholders, such as Compensation and Benefits and Talent Acquisition, as well as business leaders. A key area of focus for the HR team is to drive manager education on important people programs, policies, tools and processes, enabling them to become more self-sufficient. Whilst doing this, the HR teams are continuously raising the bar on identifying improvements and harmonising practices across geographies and sharing best practices, wherever possible.

In addition to growing their technical knowledge and skills, apprentices will have the opportunity to develop key and complementary soft skills required within a business environment, for example effective communication and teamwork, managing stakeholder relationships, consultancy within a technology context, and presentation skills. This blend of technical and interpersonal skills provides a balanced learner journey.

The delivery of the academic program is facilitated by the training provider using online learning and resources, classroom sessions and 1:1 coaching. Apprentices will complete a series of modules related to specific topics and undertake discovery, practical and application activities to learn, embed and practice their learning. Each individual develops a portfolio of evidence to demonstrate their competence and will undertake a work-based project where they further apply their learning from the modules studied.

You will work towards the HR Consultant Partner L5 Apprenticeship standard and the CIPD Level 5 Certificate in People Management.

On completion, apprentices can go on to develop successful HR careers.
