Your new companyThis practice is an award-winning multidisciplinary business based in Belfast who provide a design consultancy service throughout Ireland and the UK, as part of organic growth, they are looking for an Electrical Engineer to contribute to large-scale renewable projects.As one of Northern Irelands longest established consultants, they boast a large and experienced team who have worked on projects in all sectors of the built environment and, notably, they are among a select few consultancies actively engaged in the renewables sector, working on multimillion-pound developments.

Your new roleSupporting management and running of renewables projects which include solar power and windfarm developments throughout the UK. Taking responsibility for leading and managing projects, carrying out electrical assessments, site inspections, due diligence and all necessary stages from initial conception to handover.What you'll need to succeed

  • Hold a degree or equivalent in Electrical Engineer, Architectural Engineering or Energy related subject, ideally with 2 years' practical experience working as an Electrical Design Engineer within a consultancy setting.
  • Graduate Electrical Engineers may also be considered with relevant placement experience.
  • Fully proficient in the use of AutoCAD and knowledge of Revit would be an advantage.
  • Flexible and self-motivated; and possess a valid driving licence and have the use of a car.
