Construction Engineer: Technical

Location: Aldermaston, Berkshire

Salary: £26,500 - £35,000 (dependent on experience)

Along with this, you will also:

  • Help maintain Construction function digital systems, records, repositories, and registers to sustain construction compliance.

  • Provide technical coordination of the construction central key deliverables and outputs to support organisational readiness and delivery of construction.

  • Help develop/produce the AWE construction management policy, procedures, and standards (safety & operational).

  • Support the management of expenditure and procurement, associated to the construction management overhead and training budgets.

  • Collate, analyse, monitor, and present technical Construction Management data/information.

  • Support Construction safety subject matter experts and technical authorities.

What will you need to be considered?

  • A passion for Construction Management and the build environment.

  • Degree 'BSC/Hons/Masters etc' (or approaching completion) in a Construction Management, Engineering, Build environment discipline.

  • Proactive and driven approach to work and creating success.

  • Ability to work in a team of diverse individuals to meet common objectives.

  • Analytically/technically minded, with good problem-solving skills and able to manage multiple tasks and willingness to ask for help when needed.

  • Confident in reviewing and composing technical reports/documentation and in presenting technical data.

  • High computer literacy skills. Competent in Microsoft packages (advanced excel/ spreadsheet skills desirable).

  • An awareness/appreciation of working to process and procedures i.e.: environment, safety, health, Construction Design and Management (CDM), security and quality driven practices/policy - Training will be provided to uplift competency.

Candidates must be willing and able to obtain and maintain the necessary security clearance for the role and be willing and able to work in designated areas.
