What to expect
A Willis Towers Watson apprenticeship is a fantastic opportunity for you to earn while you learn. You’ll spend an average of approximately one day a week training towards a professional qualification.
The rest of the time, you’ll be working in one of our business teams, experiencing first-hand how we partner with our clients to find smart, innovative solutions to the challenges they face.
Examples of the kind of work you could be involved in include:
- Advising a leading high-street retailer on how to invest their employee pension funds
- Defining and securing sufficient insurance cover for an airline
- Enabling our insurance clients to spread their own risk effectively

While you are on our apprenticeship program, your time will be split 80/20 between learning on and off the job. Key elements of your off-the-job training will include:
- Textbook and online classroom learning
- Live online tutorials
- Support from a tutor and skills coach
- Professional examinations
