A reputable and well-respected provider of Asbestos Serviced in the North East of England region are now seeking to recruit a Asbestos Administrator / Trainee Laboratory Analyst. This role would suit someone who has extensive experience working within a fast-paced Asbestos Office who is keen to expand on their qualifications and further their knowledge in the asbestos industry.

Consideration will be given to candidates from: Thornaby, Guisborough, Redcar, Hartlepool, Darlington, Newton Aycliffe, Bishop Auckland, Hartlepool, Spennymoor, Peterlee, Durham, Seaham, Consett, Sunderland, Newcastle Upon Tyne.

Experience & Qualifications:
" Will have extensive experience working within an administrative role within the Asbestos industry.
" Experience working within an Asbestos laboratory would be beneficial to the role.
" Will ideally hold the BOHS P401 qualification.
" Excellent time management skills.
" Able to organise workload in line with company and client needs.
" Will have a keen eye for detail.

The Role:
" Confirming work to be carried out with clients.
" Scheduling site staff to work appropriately, ensuring to arrange accommodation when required.
" Liaising with clients, providing support and advice when required.
" Carrying out effective document control.
" Logging all samples onto internal systems upon arrival, ensuring to bag safely and label correctly.
" Training in carrying out sample analysis using PLM and stereo microscopy, ensuring work is carried out in line with HSG 248 guidelines.
" Ensuring the laboratory is kept clean and tidy.
" Calibrating equipment to ensure accuracy.
