Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist senior engineers with the installation, maintenance, and repair of mechanical and electrical equipment.
  • Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance tasks.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment issues.
  • Maintain accurate records of work performed and parts used.
  • Adhere to health and safety regulations and company policies.
Training and Development:
  • Complete an NVQ (National Vocational Qualification) over the first three years.
  • Pursue an HNC (Higher National Certificate) in the fourth year.
  • Receive mentorship from experienced engineers.
  • Opportunities for career progression within the company.
Requirements:
  • A full UK driving license
  • Be 18 years old or over
  • A keen interest in mechanical and electrical engineering.
  • Basic understanding of engineering principles and practices.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
  • Relevant GCSEs (or equivalent) in Mathematics, Science, and English.
  • Willingness to travel extensively during and after the apprenticeship.
