Curtis Furniture are pleased to be recruiting for apprentices to join a well-established company and market leader in the manufacture of furniture for the Hospitality Industry. They manufacturer and fit out Hotels with bespoke furniture for clients such as Hilton, Sheraton, Holiday Inn & Crowne Plaza.
The apprenticeship will be supported by Curtis s training partner North Lancashire Training group, with on-site tutoring sessions from one of their trained specialists.
Job Purpose
To undertake your Level 2 Furniture Manufacturing qualification, working in a fast-paced team. You will be learning from the ground up to become a fully trained and competent member of the manufacturing team. In the dispatch department.
Responsibilities once trained but not limited to: -
- Completion of delivery notes
- Transportation requests
- Use paperwork to carry out specific detailed tasks (labels, drawings & specifications)
- Handling Materials between departments
- Quality checking and fault identification
- General housekeeping of the work area and factory areas
- Packing items prior to dispatch
- Manual handling
