Trainee Health and Social Care (Children & Young People) Assessor
Location: South Wales
Contract: Full-time, Permanent
Hours: Monday-Friday, 09:00-16:30
Salary: 24,638 - 25,709
About the Role
We are looking for a Trainee Assessor to support apprenticeship learners in Children & Young People services. You will provide structured guidance, assess workplace evidence, and help learners achieve their qualifications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support learners throughout their apprenticeship journey
- Travel to workplaces across the region for assessments
- Create Individual Learning Plans and track progress
- Maintain accurate records for compliance
- Contribute to performance targets and learner success
What We're Looking For
Essential:
- NVQ/QCF level 3 qualification or equivalent in health and social care (Children and Young People)
- Full UK driving licence and own vehicle
- DBS check (cost covered)
Desirable:
- Welsh language skills
- EWC registration or prior teaching experience
- Teaching/assessing qualification (A1, TAQA, CAVA or equivalent)
