Graduate Sustainability Consultant

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a Southampton based sustainability consultancy who consist of a team of building energy experts who provide specialist services to multidisciplined projects across the UK. They are Looking for an ambitious Graduate Sustainability Consultant who is looking to grow within the built environment with the role helping them find their own niche in sustainability.
Role responsibilities for a Graduate Sustainability Consultant include:
- Carry out research on sustainability trends, legislations and best practices with training being provided in areas that need support
- Begin to use software's such as IES and OneClick to carry out overheating strategies and Whole Life Carbon assessments
- Begin to carry out SAP and SBEM assessments for commercial and non-domestic projects
- Prepare sustainability reports and communication material, as well as liaising with clients to help reduce their carbon footprint by providing sustainable strategies
- The role will be tailored to the successful candidate to help find their own niche within sustainability within the built environment
The ideal Graduate Sustainability Consultant will have:
- An MSc within an Energy or Sustainability field
- Strong knowledge and passion for the built environment industry
- Knowledge of IES-VE software in regards to energy modelling
- Good understanding of Net-Zero Carbon and Life Cycle Assessments would be beneficial
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
