An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Graduate Geoenvironmental Engineer to join a growing consultancy team based in Northampton. This role is ideal for a motivated graduate looking to develop a career within geoenvironmental engineering and contaminated land, working on a diverse range of projects across the UK.



The Role

As a Graduate Geoenvironmental Engineer, you will support senior engineers and consultants in the delivery of site investigation and environmental assessment projects. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting with Phase 1 Desk Studies and Preliminary Risk Assessments

  • Supporting intrusive site investigations, including soil and groundwater sampling

  • Logging soil and rock samples

  • Assisting with factual and interpretative report writing

  • Liaising with laboratories, contractors, and internal teams

  • Supporting risk assessments and remediation strategies

  • Undertaking site work across Northamptonshire and the wider UK



About You

  • Degree in Geology, Geoenvironmental Engineering, Environmental Science, Earth Sciences, or a related discipline

  • Strong interest in geoenvironmental engineering and contaminated land

  • Willingness to undertake site-based work in varying conditions

  • Good written and verbal communication skills

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work collaboratively

  • Full UK driving licence (or working towards one)
