An exciting new opportunity has arisen to work with a family-owned contractor specializing in drylining and refurbishment projects. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work across all of this firms departments giving them a unique insight into the business.

As a family-run business, they take great pride in their close-knit team and commitment to maintaining long-standing relationships with clients and customers throughout the region.

Person Specification:

  • A background in project management, construction, or a related field would be advantageous.
  • Basic knowledge of project management principles and practices, particularly in drylining and refurbishment.
  • Current study towards, or possession of, a suitable qualification in project management or construction.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to proactively engage with colleagues across departments.
  • A commitment to delivering a best value service to customers.
  • Good IT skills, including familiarity with project management software.
  • The ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

Performance Objectives:

  • Working closely with the project manager to deliver drylining and refurbishment projects on time and within budget, gaining a comprehensive understanding of the full project life cycle.
  • Assisting in ensuring that all health, safety, and environmental standards are met.
  • Supporting the delivery of high-quality projects, contributing to the overall presentation and success of the site.
  • Learning to effectively manage all project-based activities, with an understanding of development requirements, company procedures, and industry standards.
  • Assisting with the ordering of equipment and materials, and organizing their use and the personnel involved.
