About the Role: As a Graduate Teaching Assistant in Primary, you will play a crucial role in supporting teachers and helping students achieve their full potential. You will work closely with students, providing one-on-one or small group support, and assist in creating a positive and inclusive learning environment. Responsibilities:

  • Assist teachers in preparing classroom materials and resources.
  • Support students with their learning activities, ensuring they understand and complete tasks.
  • Provide one-on-one or small group support to students who need extra help.
  • Help manage classroom behaviour and maintain a positive learning environment.
  • Assist with the supervision of students during breaks and lunchtimes.
  • Participate in school events and activities, contributing to the school community.

Requirements:

  • Recent graduate with a passion for education.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • A positive and proactive attitude towards helping students.
  • Basic knowledge of child development and educational practices.
  • Relevant qualifications or training in education or childcare is an advantage.
