The role:
As a graduate teaching assistant, your responsibilities will include:
- Assisting with classroom activities and lesson preparation
- Providing one-on-one and small group support to students
- Encouraging creativity and curiosity in learning
- Helping to create a positive, inclusive, and fun learning environment
- Assist the class teacher with the daily running of the classroom, including assisting with behaviour management as and when required
About you:
We're seeking a recent university graduate who:
- Has a genuine passion for working with children and supporting their development
- Is creative, enthusiastic, and full of energy
- Is approachable and able to build positive relationships with students and staff
- Is considering a career in teaching and eager to gain valuable school-based experience
- Ideally has previous experience as a teaching assistant, or within a child/school-based environment
