About the Role
We re looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Graduate Electrical Engineer to join an established Building Services Consultancy in Nottingham.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a recent graduate to begin their career in electrical building services design, working on a diverse range of commercial, residential, education, and healthcare projects. You ll receive hands-on training, mentorship from senior engineers, and support towards achieving Chartered Engineer status.
Key Responsibilities

Assist in the design and development of electrical systems, including lighting, power distribution, fire alarms, and data systems.

Work under the guidance of senior engineers to produce design calculations, drawings, and technical documentation.

Attend project and coordination meetings with clients and other design disciplines.

Support with site surveys, inspections, and project delivery activities.

Gain exposure to all stages of the design process, from concept through to completion.

Develop technical and professional skills through ongoing training and mentorship.
About You
-
Degree in Electrical Engineering, Building Services Engineering, or a related discipline.

Strong interest in sustainable and energy-efficient building design.

Excellent communication, problem-solving, and teamwork skills.

Eagerness to learn, develop, and take on new challenges.

Familiarity with software such as AutoCAD, Revit, or Amtech (advantageous but not essential).

Passion for building a long-term career in the building services industry.
