Graduate Electrical Design Engineer Salary: £28,500 - £32,500 DOE
Orion are currently working with an innovative business based in Spalding who are looking for a Graduate Electrical Design Engineer to design electrical schematics and control panel layouts.
They are looking for a Graduate Design Engineer to join their friendly team and work hands-on in a fast-paced environment.
This is a role with longevity and a personal development plan for progression with external and internal training.
Graduate Electrical Design Engineer Responsibilities:
- Learn how to use EPLAN
- Understand functional safety circuits
- Production of Parts ordering Lists and Ordering materials
- Production and printing of all Control Panel Amenities such as Labels and diagrams
- Obtaining Part Declarations and Specification sheets
- Production of Operating Manuals and Documentation
- Understand Control Panel Components and their functions
- Produce Documentation and Declarations for Approval
The Role will then progress into further activities to include
• Design and Production Control Panel Schematics
• Producing Designers Risk Assessments
• Carry out site layout drawings and cable calculations
Graduate Electrical Design Engineer Required Experience:
- In-depth knowledge of EPLAN
- Formal Electrical Engineering qualification HNC/HND in electrical engineering
- Familiarity to automated machinery
- Familiarity with control panels
- Systematic approach to their work with attention to detail
- Ambition for progression
Graduate Electrical Design Engineer Package:
- Competitive Salary of £28,500 - £32,500 DOE
- 25 day holiday allowance + bank holiday
- Pension contribution
- Onsite parking

Monday Friday: 8 00
