We are looking for a Graduate Acoustic Consultant to join one of the largest independent acoustic consultancies in the United Kingdom. This position presents a great opportunity to become part of a specialist team of acoustic, noise, and vibration consultants with a distinguished history of career development and progression. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work on a diverse range of exclusive and bespoke projects, encompassing residential and commercial developments, as well as entertainment and large infrastructure initiatives.

The main responsibilities of the Graduate Acoustic Consultant include conducting noise assessments, performing sound insulation testing, and utilising 3D noise modelling techniques. In addition to these assessments, the consultant will be required to prepare comprehensive final reports. This role also necessitates collaboration with architects, developers, engineers, and construction managers to ensure effective communication among all project stakeholders and to guarantee that all project deliverables are met.

Candidates applying for the Graduate Acoustic Consultant position should hold a BSc or an MSc in Acoustics, Mathematics, Physics, or a related field. A strong understanding of British standards BS4142, BS5228, BS8233, and BS16283 is essential. Proficiency in acoustical software such as ODEON, INSUL, SoundPLAN, and CadnaA is also required. Additionally, candidates must possess a valid driver's licence.
