I am actively seeking an experienced Graduate Structural Engineer to join a busy, successful Civil and Structural Engineering consultancy based in Cardiff. Your role will involve undertaking structural designs on residential extensions to reinforced concrete and steel framed commercial buildings. My client specialise in designs of building structures, drainage, flood risk, highways, sewerage treatment and general infrastructure.

It is essential for this Graduate Structural Engineer to have a professional and commercial viewpoint through having the following:

  • A relevant first-class degree. E.g., MEng or BEng
  • A minimum of 2 years relevant experience in Structural design
  • Skilled in using AutoCAD, Revit or Tekkla
  • Experience with designs for concrete or steel, drainage systems or highways designs
  • Hold Full UK driving license

Duties and responsibilities for this Graduate Civil Engineer include:

  • Undertake Structural designs using design software's
  • Study and assess drawings, specifications, plans, and other documents relating to construction projects.
  • Manage, design and develop small to large scaled projects
  • Providing innovative solutions in external works
