The School and Role

Vision for Education are seeking a Classroom Supervisor to work across KS3 & KS4. No experience required, all training providing internally by Vision For Education. The role will require the successful candidate to manage the classroom in the Teacher s absence. The class Teacher will provide all the materials and tools needed for the lesson ready for the Classroom Supervisor to deliver. Although not actively teaching, it is important for a Classroom Supervisor to have the skills and confidence needed to keep the class motivated and focused so they can work on the activities set and prepared for them. The role requires you to support pupils as they work through the lesson and to understand how to help them to complete tasks, where needed.

Requirements

The desired Classroom Supervisor will have;

- Experience of working with secondary school aged children

- A passion for the progress of secondary school pupils

- An ability to work as part of a team

- Have, or be prepared to undergo an Enhanced DBS check
