Job Description

The Recruitment Curve is working in partnership with a respected Further Education College to recruit a Trainee or Qualified Plumbing Lecturer for a full-time, permanent position.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality, engaging plumbing lessons (both theory and practical)
  • Plan and prepare schemes of work and lesson materials
  • Integrate inclusive teaching methods and appropriate resources
  • Assess learners' progress through formative and summative methods
  • Support learners via progress reviews and individual development plans
  • Stay updated on curriculum and industry developments

Requirements

  • A Level 3 qualification in Plumbing (or equivalent) is essential
  • Experience in the plumbing trade or teaching/training
  • Strong communication and classroom management skills
  • A teaching qualification is not required full training and support available for Trainee Lecturer.

A teaching qualification or professional recognition in learning and skills is not essential, however we do ask that you are willing to work towards this.
