This is the perfect opportunity for recent graduates who are passionate about education and eager to gain valuable school-based experience - particularly for those considering a future career in teaching.
The Role:
As a Graduate Teaching Assistant, you will:
- Support teaching and learning across a range of subjects and year groups (KS3 and KS4)
- Provide one-to-one or small group interventions for students who need additional support
- Assist teachers in preparing resources and managing classroom behaviour
- Help create an inclusive and positive learning environment
Who We're Looking For:
- A recent graduate (any subject considered, but strong preference for core subjects like English, Maths, and Science)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Enthusiastic, resilient, and adaptable
- Previous experience working with young people (e.g., tutoring, mentoring, youth work) is desirable but not essential
- A genuine interest in education and the ability to inspire and motivate secondary-aged pupils
