TimePlan Education Manchester is recruiting enthusiastic and ambitious Graduate Teaching Assistants to join a successful Bury secondary school. This is a perfect stepping stone into teaching for those with degrees in English, Maths, Science, Humanities, Psychology, Sport, or related subjects.
Role Overview:
You will be supporting teachers across subject departments, providing targeted intervention and working with pupils who need academic stretch or additional academic catch-up. This role will give you unrivalled classroom experience before progressing to teacher training.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support teaching staff across KS3 and KS4 curriculum areas
- Provide small-group tuition and booster sessions
- Assist with lesson planning and resource creation
- Work with pupils preparing for GCSE exams
- Develop your own subject-specialist knowledge and teaching confidence
- Support extracurricular clubs and enrichm4ent activities (if desired)

- Confident, articulate and able to inspire young people
- Excellent subject knowledge
