Key Responsibilities as a Graduate Teaching Assistant:
- Support pupils across Key Stage 1 and/or Key Stage 2 with their learning and development
- Work closely with class teachers to plan and deliver targeted support, including small group work and 1:1 interventions
- Assist with classroom preparation and contribute to a positive learning environment
- Provide additional support to children with SEND or those requiring extra help to reach their full potential
- Build strong, positive relationships with pupils, staff, and parents/carers
- Help monitor pupil progress and contribute to ongoing assessment
What we are looking for in a Graduate Teaching Assistant:
- A recent graduate with a Degree/Masters ideally in Education or a related subject
- A passion for working with children and an interest in a career in teaching
- Any experience working with young people (e.g. tutoring, mentoring, summer camps, youth work) is desirable
- A flexible, proactive and approachable attitude
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Right to work in the UK
