This is a full-time, long-term role with opportunities for personal and professional growth.
Responsibilities:
- Support teachers in delivering engaging lessons to students across Key Stages 3 and 4
- Work one-on-one or with small groups of students, assisting with academic and personal development
- Help prepare classroom materials and resources
- Provide support to students with varying needs, ensuring an inclusive learning environment
- Assist with managing classroom behaviour in line with the school's policies
- Foster a positive, nurturing atmosphere that encourages student participation and learning
- Contribute to the overall school community and its extra-curricular activities
Requirements:
- A degree in any discipline (Education-related fields are advantageous but not required)
- A genuine passion for education and helping young people succeed
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- The ability to work well both independently and as part of a team
- Previous experience working with children or young people is preferred but not essential
- A DBS check on the Update Service is required
