About the Role:

PK Education is seeking a dedicated and passionate Graduate Teaching Assistant to join a large 3-form entry primary school located in the vibrant heart of Leeds. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a bustling, diverse environment and make a meaningful impact on young learners' lives.

Key Responsibilities:

- Provide support to pupils across various subjects and activities from EYFS Upper KS2.

- Assist with lesson planning and classroom management.

- Support with 1-1 and small group activities to target development for lower ability pupils.

- Work closely with pupils who have English as an Additional Language (EAL), Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs, communication difficulties, and language challenges.

- Foster a positive and engaging learning environment that inspires pupils.

- Collaborate with teachers and other staff members to ensure each child s unique needs are met.

Qualifications and Skills:

- A degree in Education or a related field.

- A positive, optimistic attitude and a passion for inspiring a love for learning.

- Proactive and hands-on approach in dealing with daily challenges.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

- A desire to make a difference in the educational journey of young students.
