Are you a recent graduate with a passion for education and a desire to make a positive impact in a secondary school environment? Our vibrant, inclusive mainstream secondary school in Greenwich is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Graduate Teaching Assistant to join our team immediately.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the delivery of lessons across a range of subjects, working with small groups and on a one-to-one basis with students.
  • Assist teachers with classroom management and create an engaging, supportive learning environment.
  • Provide additional support for students with learning difficulties or special educational needs (SEN).
  • Help prepare teaching resources, displays, and other classroom materials.
  • Contribute to the development of individual student progress and welfare.
  • Provide feedback to teachers on student performance and behaviour.

Requirements:

  • A degree in any subject (Essential).
  • Previous experience working with children or in an educational setting is preferred but not essential.
  • Excellent communication skills and a positive, patient approach to working with young people.
  • Enthusiasm for education and the development of young minds.
  • A DBS check on the update service is required (or willingness to apply for one).
