They are actively searching for a capable, driven Graduate Hydraulic Modeller who is willing to take on a variety of challenges in the historic, cultural city of Exeter.

Responsibilities for the role of Graduate Hydraulic Modeller include:

  • Producing hydraulic models and surveys
  • Analysing and interpreting data to prepare reports
  • Generating plans using MapInfo
  • Working closely with clients and stakeholders
  • Undertaking site visits
  • Adhering to industry standards, regulations, and the appropriate health and safety measures at all times

Required skills and experience for the role of Graduate Hydraulic Modeller include:

  • A Degree (or equivalent qualification) in Hydrology or Civil Engineering (or a similar, relevant discipline)
  • A passion for modelling, especially wastewater modelling
  • Good knowledge of InfoWorks ICM, and other relevant software packages
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Full, valid UK driving licence

Desirable skills and experience for the role of Graduate Hydraulic Modeller include:

  • Good knowledge of the local area and surrounding region
  • Working knowledge of a range of other software systems used within the flood risk, drainage, and hydrology sectors
  • Some prior experience in a hydraulic modelling role
