SALARY
- Starting base salary 27,000 - 30,000 with opportunities to progress
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Work on automated and non-automated product lines to assemble mechanical parts according to specifications
- Use a variety of tools and equipment, including handheld screw and drill guns, to ensure precise assembly
- Contribute to maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work area
- Read, interpret, and follow engineering drawings and specifications to accurately assemble products
- Perform quality checks and identify product defects, ensuring adherence to quality standards
- Rework and repair assembled equipment based on engineering specification changes
- Maintain inventory of products and parts in workstations
- Perform all work in accordance with established safety procedures
PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS
- Proficiency in the use of hand tools and a basic understanding of electrical wiring and motors
- Enthusiasm and interest in engineering and manufacturing, with knowledge of materials and their types
- Previous experience in a manufacturing/engineering environment is advantageous
