The Role
As Graduate NPD Technologist, you will:
- Assist in the development of new and existing food products, ensuring they meet both customer and regulatory specifications.
- Support the NPD team with product trials, from the kitchen through to production scale-up, ensuring products meet quality, taste, and cost targets.
- Conduct research into food trends, ingredients, and technology to help shape the development of innovative products.
- Collaborate with internal teams such as production, quality assurance, and marketing to ensure products are developed and launched smoothly.
- Ensure all new products comply with food safety, nutritional, and labeling regulations.
- Assist with the preparation of product specifications, testing, and documentation for new product launches.
- Monitor the performance of launched products and support improvements or adjustments as needed.
- Support the senior NPD Technologists with any ad-hoc tasks related to the development process.
The Candidate
The successful Graduate NPD Technologist will:
- Be able to show why they want to go into NPD.
- Preferably, will have done an NPD placement.
