A client of ours in the Witham area are recruiting a Sales Administrator Apprentice to join their team. This is a full-time permanent position working Monday - Friday 9.00am - 5.00pm (35-hour week) and paying 15,000 per annum ( 8.24 per hour).
Working within a Administration team of 4, your key duties include but are not limited to:
- Provide customer quotations in a timely manner, to include sourcing pricing from vendors
- Provide administrative support to the sales team
- Process customer sales orders from order entry through to delivery
- Provide customers with order updates and tracking/shipping information
- Create customs documents for orders shipping outside of the UK
- Track outbound shipments through to point of delivery
- Process vendor purchase orders from order entry through to receipt of goods
- Proactively liase with vendors to ensure delivery deadlines are met
- Create new part numbers and assist with maintaining part number integrity
- Assist with maintaining filing systems
- Answer incoming phone calls and direct to the appropriate department
Skills and Experience required to be considered for this Sales Administrator Apprentice position:
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- School leaver with GCSE's graded 5 (C) or above
- Confident telephone manner
- Proactive
- Willingness to learn
- Someone seeking a career path in admin and secretarial type roles
