JOB - Graduate Service Engineer
LOCATION - Oxford
TERM - Permanent
SALARY - 25,000 to 35,000 per annum (plus benefits)
Premier Engineering is working with a cutting-edge technology company based in Oxford that is looking to hire a Graduate Service Engineer.
The Graduate Service Engineer will ideally have the following attributes:
- A degree or qualification in Mechanical, Electrical, or Robotics Engineering (BEng, MEng, HND, HNC, etc.).
- This role is ideal for someone with previous experience as a production, manufacturing, or service engineer, with an interest in robotics and process improvement.
- Previous experience as a production, manufacturing, or service engineer.
- Hands-on experience with building and/or programming robotic systems.
- Ability to design and implement new processes to improve efficiency and reliability.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to troubleshooting technical issues.
- Good understanding of mechanical and electrical systems.
- Ability to work independently and within a team environment.
- Excellent communication skills and a willingness to travel when required.
The Graduate Service Engineer role will involve:
- Providing technical support, maintenance, and servicing of robotic and automated systems.
- Assisting with the installation and commissioning of new machinery and equipment.
- Troubleshooting and diagnosing faults in robotic and mechanical systems.
- Working closely with production and engineering teams to improve processes.
- Designing and implementing new procedures to enhance system performance.
- Carrying out routine inspections and preventative maintenance tasks.
- Supporting customer training and providing technical documentation where necessary.
