We are looking for a Graduate Quality Engineer to join a leading aerospace manufacturer. With a strong focus on safety, compliance, and continuous improvement, we are looking for a motivated Graduate Quality Engineer to join the Quality team and develop their career in a highly regulated, high-performance environment. As a Graduate Quality Engineer, you will support the Quality team in ensuring products and processes meet aerospace standards and customer requirements. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience across manufacturing, supplier quality, and compliance within AS9100-certified operations.Graduate Quality EngineerPermanent Position£30,000 per annum Mon-Thu: 7am-4pm or 8am-5pm and Fri: 7am-12pm or 8am-1pmDerbyKey Responsibilities:
  • Support internal quality assurance activities across production and engineering
  • Assist with root cause analysis and corrective actions (8D, 5 Whys, Fishbone)
  • Help maintain compliance with AS9100, ISO9001, and customer requirements
  • Review manufacturing documentation, inspection plans, and FAI submissions (AS9102)
  • Support non-conformance investigations and concession processes
  • Work with suppliers to improve quality performance
  • Analyse quality data and produce reports on KPIs (scrap, rework, yield, etc.)
Essential Experience & Skills:
  • Degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Aerospace, or related discipline
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical thinking
  • Interest in quality engineering and regulated industries
  • Good problem-solving and communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
