Cammach are recruiting a Graduate Project Engineer on behalf of our growing client based in Aberdeen. Our client is a growing Engineering firm that supports clients globally.

Contract: Permanent

Hours: Monday - Friday 8.30am - 4.30pm

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Fulfilment of project management duties across all assigned projects in a pro-active and effective manner
  • Communicate effectively, verbally and in writing to a wide range of stakeholders
  • Liaise with the sales team to identify and respond to sales opportunities, and prepare tenders, bids, quotations
  • Create, control and manage work packs for respective projects including technical drawings, work orders, BOM s, ITP s, test procedures, work instructions and more
  • Track and coordinate project spending while liaising with the procurement team
  • Control and management of all commercial and technical aspects of assigned projects
  • Forecast and monitor project performance utilising company systems
  • Identify potential challenges within new and ongoing projects, discuss with Operations / Engineering to develop and deliver fit for purpose solutions.
  • Work with operations and services team to ensure smooth workshop operations including the preparation of any additional documentation
  • The job holder may be required to carry out any other related or associated roles, tasks or duties, which they can be trained, instructed and supervised to do safely and according to changing business requirements.
  • Update and manage project folders, databases and reporting in line with the companies accredited QMS
  • Attend, present and lead where required, client meetings regarding ongoing, potential and future scopes
  • Mobilise both onshore and potentially offshore, locally and globally as and when project requires in both operational and supervisory role to assure efficient project execution

REQUIREMENTS

  • Degree qualification in Engineering or equivalent industry experience
  • Highly motivated and proactive approach to ownership and personal development
  • Knowledge of engineering principles and practices
  • Key knowledge in mechanical engineering
  • Good knowledge of all standard software packages, for example, financial tools, CRM, Microsoft office suite, Microsoft Project and Autodesk Inventor
  • Valid clean driving license
