Pertemps are working with a leading manufacturer in the printing sector, specialising in high-quality die-cut products. We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join the team as a Trainee Machine Operative.
Responsibilities:- Operate and maintain die cutting machines under the supervision of experienced staff.
- Assist in setting up machines for production runs.
- Monitor machine performance and make adjustments as needed.
- Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of machines.
- Ensure products meet quality standards and specifications.
- Follow health and safety guidelines and procedures.
- Keep accurate records of production and machine performance.
- Collaborate with team members to meet production targets and deadlines.
Requirements:- Basic understanding of machinery and mechanical processes is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication skills.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new tasks.
- Physical ability to stand for long periods and lift materials as needed.
