As a Graduate Mechanical Design Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and analysing components, supporting build and inspection activities and engaging directly with suppliers and customers.
Your responsibilities as a Graduate Mechanical Design Engineer:
- Design, analyse and detail mechanical components using Siemens NX and Simcenter.
- Support component manufacture and liaise with machinists and customers to resolve non-conformances.
- Assist with purchasing, receiving, and visual inspection of mechanical parts.
- Carry out 3D scanning, reverse engineering and 3D printing tasks.
- Participate in the assembly and quality control of transmission and associated systems.
- Liaise with customers and suppliers to support project delivery and issue resolution.
Your current experience which will help you as a Graduate Mechanical Design Engineer:
- A recently completed degree in Mechanical or Aeronautical Engineering.
- Experience using 3D CAD and MS Office. (Siemens NX and Simcenter preferred).
- Strong IT skills with the ability to manage and prioritise multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- A flexible and enthusiastic approach to problem-solving and design challenges.
- Confident communicator with the ability to work directly with suppliers and customers.
- An interest in motorsport, transmissions or high-performance engineering projects.
What you can expect as a Graduate Mechanical Design Engineer:
- Up to £30k salary, dependent on experience.
- Company pension.
- Holiday allowance: 28 days.
