At Stride Recruitment, we are thrilled to collaborate with an award-winning and well-established Specialist Mortgage brokerages. They are actively seeking an experienced 1st Charge or 2nd Charge Mortgage & Protection Advisor to join their dynamic, exciting, and continuously expanding team.

The ideal candidate should possess a minimum of 1 year of experience working in a financial services role and hold CeMAP qualification. Ideally, you will already be advising on mortgages.

Our client specialises in 1st Charge, 2nd Charge, Bridging and Equity Release. If you have expertise in any of these areas, we encourage you to get in touch as we would love to hear from you.

Location: Manchester

Salary: 25,500 - 33,000 - depending on experience

Key Responsibilities:

  • Guide clients through the mortgage application process, offering expert advice on suitable mortgage options.
  • Assess clients' protection needs and recommend comprehensive solutions, including life insurance, critical illness coverage, and income protection.
  • Conduct thorough consultations to understand clients' financial goals and preferences.
  • Collaborate with lenders, underwriters, and legal professionals to facilitate smooth mortgage transactions.
  • Stay informed about market trends, mortgage products, and insurance offerings to provide up-to-date advice.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations and internal policies.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, or a related field.
  • Mortgage advisory qualification - Full CeMAP).
  • Proven experience in mortgage advising and protection planning.

Skills:

  • Strong knowledge of mortgage products, regulations, and market trends.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to assess client needs.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Proficient in relevant software and tools for mortgage applications.
