Trainee Property Manager - Chadwell Heath

Our client is an independent local business, based in Chadwell Heath, still run today by the directors who started the company around 20 years ago. They offer our customers a personalised, high-level service where tenants and landlords feel valued and appreciated.

Due to growth in their managed property portfolio, they require a new Trainee Property Manager to join their team.

No prior property management or property industry experience is required for this role (full training will be provided). The Trainee Property Manager will be working as part of a close-knit team to provide high-quality property management services to the landlords and tenants of our client's residential property portfolio including:

  • Checking that properties are at acceptable standards and comply with legal requirements prior to marketing
  • Processing new tenancy applications and preparing the initial paperwork
  • Handling the move-in day procedures for tenancies
  • Liaising with landlords and tenants during the lifecycle of the tenancy
  • Coordinating the maintenance of properties, including liaising with contractors
  • Booking routine visits for properties
  • Handling the end-of-tenancy procedures, including agreeing deposit deductions

Package

Salary: 25,000 - 28,000 depending on property management skills and experience.

Hours: 5 days per week. Monday to Friday 9am to 6pm, Saturdays available as overtime but not compulsory - just a good way to top your money up!
