My client is recruiting for a trainee Project Engineer that will provide the successful candidate the opportunity to grow within their business. Their core business is the supply of robotic automated assembly systems to the automotive sector alongside bespoke niche assembly tooling solutions for the lower volume high vehicle manufacturers. The role will involve shadowing and supporting the team of project engineers and the MD on outstanding/upcoming projects.
Key skills will include:
- ONC, HNC or higher in mechanical engineering and/or production engineering and/or automation engineering would be advantageous.
- Must be able to read and understand engineering drawings (mechanical)
- Basic computer skills
- Previous experience in engineering or manufacturing would be an advantage but not a prerequisite.
- Being able to operate CAD would be advantageous though not necessary.
