Trainee Service Engineer (Trolleys & Mobility Scooters)

£30,201 + Overtime + OTE £40,000 + Van + Tools + Phone + Company Pension + Holiday + Training

12 hour days 4 days a week can work Monday to Thursday or Tuesday to Friday

Trainee Service Engineer role on offer for candidates from any engineering background who are looking for training and development. Candidates will have an engineering qualification and/or experience and will use electrical / hand-tools and weld in this role.

This is a field based position that involves travelling to client sites. It is a Monday to Thursday or Tuesday to Friday position working on average around 48 hour weeks with travel and overtime is available. You will be paid door to door. You will cover client sites mainly in the Cambridge, Peterborough, Norwich, Ipswich areas and will be customer facing. The company use online systems to book, log and track jobs using basic IT software.

The Trainee Service Engineer Role:

Service based role covering client sites mainly in Cambridge, Peterborough, Norwich, Ipswich.
Working at customers sites (retail/supermarket environments) from a fully stocked van to maintain and service trolleys, mobility scooters and associated equipment. You will also carry out full strip downs and testing of machinery.
You will work in various environments and outdoors.
There will be voluntary overtime available to work.

The Trainee Service Engineer:

Will have any engineering experience and/or qualification.
Will ideally have used electrical/ hand-tools and/or have experience of basic MIG welding (don t need a code).
