The Successful Trainee Service Engineer / Service Technician / Workshop Engineer will provide mechanical repair and service of industrial engineering products such as pumps, motors, gearboxes, hydraulics and associated mechanical engineering products / systems. Full product training provided.

The Successful Trainee Service Engineer / Service Technician / Workshop Engineer will ideally have a mechanical engineering background, with some experience using hand tools. Full training provided.

Trainee Service Engineer / Service Technician / Workshop Engineer Role
  • Provide mechanical repair and service of industrial engineering products such as pumps, motors, gearboxes, hydraulics and associated mechanical engineering products / systems. Full product training provided.
  • Carry out general maintenance, fault diagnosis of mechanical engineering products and systems in Huddersfield.
  • Identify and provide customers with system improvements, upgrades, or general aftercare solutions for mechanical engineering products.
  • Workshop based near Huddersfield
  • Liaise with various engineering departments.

Trainee Service Engineer / Service Technician / Workshop Engineer Requirements
  • A keen desire to progress as a mechanical engineer within a reputable engineering manufacturer.
  • Experience using hand tools and any experience servicing / maintaining mechanical engineering products or systems is desirable.
  • Mechanical engineering qualification such as Apprentice trained, HNC, HND, or equivalent would be advantageous.
  • The ability to read technical manuals, schematics, test procedures would be advantageous.
  • Commutable to the Huddersfield.
