We are seeking an exceptional Trainee Teacher of Maths to join our thriving and ambitious secondary school in the London Borough of Southwark. This is a permanent, full-time role beginning with a fully supported Initial Teacher Training (ITT) programme from September 2026.
About the Role
This is a unique opportunity for a high-achieving graduate to:
- Train as a Mathematics teacher in a high-performing inner London school
- Gain Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) through our ITT programme
- Join a strong, collaborative Maths department with outstanding results
- Progress into a permanent teaching role within the school

The ideal candidate
We are particularly keen to hear from candidates who have:
- A first-class or 2:1 degree in Mathematics (or closely related subject)
- Graduated from a Russell Group or top UK university
- A strong academic background in Maths
- A desire to inspire and support young people in an inner-city setting
- Excellent communication skills and a commitment to professional development
Teaching experience is not essential - we are looking for potential, passion, and subject excellence.
