About the role of Graduate Quantity Surveyor
Our client, a dynamic and forward-thinking company, is looking for a Graduate Quantity Surveyor to join their talented team. This is a fantastic opportunity for early career professional looking to gain valuable experience in the industry. They work within the civil sectors and are looking for an enthusiastic Graduate Quantity Surveyor to join their close-knit team.
Our client engages in a wide variety of forms of contract from the commonly used JCT and NEC suites, as well as bespoke agreements. The Graduate Quantity Surveyor will be required to work with all of these.
The responsibilities of the Graduate Quantity Surveyor
You will be working alongside experienced team, learning the ropes and contributing to a variety of projects based in Sussex.
- Assessing the value of work completed for interim payments.
- Monitoring project expenditure against the budget.
- Liaise with account departments to advise them of cost and revenue matters.
- Preparing and updating project programmes to reflect change.
- Preparing the final account to reconcile all costs and payments.
- Weekly cost / value report generation.
Requirements for Graduate Quantity Surveyor
- RICS Accredited Degree
- Experience in a similar role
- Good verbal and written communication
- Knowledge of NEC / JCT contracts
- Analytical thinking
- Accurate and timely provision of information
- Uk Driving License
