We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Graduate Quantity Surveyor to join our dynamic team. Duties
- Prepare detailed cost estimates for construction projects, including materials, labour, and overheads.
- Monitor project expenditures and implement cost control measures to ensure adherence to budgets.
- Conduct feasibility studies to assess the viability of projects from a financial perspective.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and contractors to provide accurate financial advice and support.
- Prepare tender documents and assist in the tendering process by evaluating bids and making recommendations.
- Maintain accurate records of all financial transactions related to projects.
- Provide regular reports on project costs and forecasts to management and stakeholders.
- Assist in resolving any disputes related to costs or contracts during the project lifecycle.
Qualifications
- A degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field is essential.
- Proven experience in quantity surveying or cost management within the construction industry is preferred.
- Strong understanding of cost control principles and practices.
- Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail.
- Proficient in using quantity surveying software and tools for estimating and reporting purposes.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
