Graduate Civil Engineer

We are currently looking for a Graduate Civil Engineer to join our engineering team on a major infrastructure project in the UK. This is a fantastic opportunity for a recent graduate to gain hands-on experience on complex and high-value construction works across the civil engineering sector.
The ideal candidate will be passionate about delivering engineering excellence and committed to developing technical, leadership, and project delivery skills within a highly collaborative team.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the planning, coordination, and delivery of construction works on site.
  • Work closely with senior engineers and site managers to ensure designs are implemented to the required quality and safety standards.
  • Contribute to the preparation of method statements, risk assessments, and technical documentation.
  • Support the engineering team with setting out, surveying, and technical reporting.
  • Engage in quality control processes, ensuring compliance with project specifications and standards.
  • Maintain detailed site records and support the production of as-built documentation.
  • Develop a clear understanding of construction sequencing, temporary works, and logistics.
  • Actively contribute to a positive safety culture and promote best practices on site.

Experience / Qualifications:
  • A recently completed degree in Civil Engineering (BEng or MEng).
  • Good understanding of core civil engineering principles and construction methodology.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
  • Enthusiasm to learn and apply technical knowledge in a real-world environment.
  • Basic understanding of health & safety and environmental regulations in construction.
  • Competent in Microsoft Office and familiar with AutoCAD or other relevant software.
  • Full UK driving licence (preferred but not essential).
