About this Apprenticeship

CRG are looking for a Graduate Building Surveyor to join a Construction Company based in Medway, Kent, who specialise in Residential Building and Restoration Projects.

The ideal Candidate will be someone who has Graduated in the Building Surveying Sector (preferably has some experience working), who is able to travel between London and Kent, and will have knowledge / experience with the following Duties / Responsibilites:

1. Project Planning and Coordination:

Assist in defining project scope, objectives, and deliverables.

Collaborate with stakeholders to gather project requirements and expectations.

Support in developing project plans, timelines, and resource allocation.

2. Project Execution:

Work closely with project teams to execute project tasks according to the established plan.

Monitor project progress and track milestones to ensure timely completion. Assist in resolving issues, risks, and conflicts that may arise

during project execution.

3. Team Collaboration:

Coordinate activities and communication among project team members

Foster a collaborative environment to encourage teamwork and knowledge sharing.

Support in conducting team meetings, workshops, and training sessions as required.

4. Documentation and Reporting:

• Maintain project documentation, including project plans, status reports, and meeting minutes. Generate regular progress reports for

stakeholders to provide insight into project performance.

Assist in evaluating project outcomes and identifying areas for improvement.

5. Quality Assurance:

Assist in ensuring that project deliverables meet quality standards and client expectations.

Participate in quality assurance activities such as reviews, inspections, and testing.

6. Risk Management:

Assist in identifying project risks and developing mitigation strategies.

Monitor and evaluate risks throughout the project lifecycle, escalating issues as necessary.

7. Risk Assessment & Method Statements

Produce Risk assessments and method statements where required and review those submitted by subcontractors.

8. Quotations

Producing quotations for new opportunities

Producing work packages to obtain costs from suppliers and review of their proposals to ensure they meet project expectations.
