We are seeking a proactive individual to support our team of chartered building surveyors and property managers. This role involves working with a diverse range of commercial, block management, and residential sector clients, ensuring the delivery of high-quality services and appropriate fee income.
This is an opportunity to be mentored by our Charted Building Surveyor - ideal for someone looking at completing their APC within two years.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Diagnose defects and report on remedial work.
- Obtain quotes and tenders for both minor and major works.
- Prepare specifications and tender documentation.
- Conduct tender analysis and compile reports.
- Monitor contractor's works and maintain client liaison.
- Prepare contract documents and administer contracts.
- Manage projects from inception to completion.
- Prepare schedules of dilapidations and conditions.
- Prepare and agree on Party Wall awards.
- Ensure compliance with CDM regulations.
- Conduct Fire, Health & Safety Assessments.
- Undertake measured surveys and prepare CAD drawings.
What you will need:
- Building Survey degree (2:1 minimum)
- GCSE's Maths and English (A to B)
- 1 years' experience as a Building Surveyor
- Full UK Driver's License
