We can look at a fresh Graduate or a Seasoned professioal and taylor the postition to suit you.

We are a small, independent RICS-accredited practice with a reputation for delivering personalised, high-quality surveying and property services. As a close-knit team, we take pride in providing expert advice and tailored solutions to our clients. Due to ongoing growth, we are seeking a Chartered Building Surveyor to join our practice, focusing on conducting condition surveys and property valuations.

Key Responsibilities depending on Experience :

  • Conduct detailed condition surveys of residential, commercial, and industrial properties.
  • Prepare clear and thorough condition reports, including recommendations and cost estimates for repairs or improvements.
  • Undertake accurate property valuations for various purposes such as purchase, sale, insurance, and inheritance or capital gains tax.
  • Offer expert guidance to clients on property condition, necessary repairs, and regulatory compliance.
  • Liaise closely with clients to ensure their needs are met, delivering timely and professional survey reports.
  • Ensure all surveying and valuation work adheres to RICS standards and industry regulations.

Qualifications and Ideal but not essential Experience:

  • MRICS or FRICS qualification (essential).
  • Proven experience in conducting condition surveys and property valuations.
  • Strong understanding of building pathology, construction techniques, and relevant legislation.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present technical information clearly.
  • Client-focused approach with a commitment to delivering outstanding service.
  • Full UK driving license and flexibility to travel to client sites as needed.
