  • Full UK Driving Licence & Business Insurance - essential
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook

The Role:


As a Trainee Block Manager, you will be responsible for:

  • Managing a portfolio of residential blocks and housing estates (initially around 200 units, increasing with experience)
  • Assisting senior Block Managers while developing your own portfolio
  • Liaising with clients, leaseholders, contractors, and insurance providers
  • Attending and chairing AGMs, EGMs, and Directors' meetings
  • Instructing and overseeing contractors for repairs and maintenance
  • Ensuring works are completed to a high standard
  • Issuing Section 20 notices for major works
  • Preparing annual service charge budgets and working with the accounts team on payments and arrears
  • Ensuring compliance with lease agreements, health & safety, RICS guidelines, and fire risk assessments
  • Conducting annual property inspections and addressing any arising issues
