About the Role Major Recruitment is seeking a motivated Trainee Powder Coater ready to join a manufacturing team and learn a specialist skill.
No prior powder coating experience is required-just your commitment, curiosity, and willingness to learn.
You'll work in a warm/hot environment and will need to wear PPE due to fumes and powder particles.
What You'll Learn & Do
Learn the full powder coating process on a range of metal components.
Prepare metal components by cleaning, sanding, and masking.
Inspect and maintain high quality standards-from surface finish through to cured product.
Operate and maintain powder coating equipment safely.
Hang and remove items from jigs/racks for coating.
Keep work areas and equipment clean, organised, and safe.
Wear PPE as needed-coating areas can be warm or fume-prone What We're Looking For
A can-do attitude-enthusiastic, reliable, and eager to get stuck in.
A Willingness to learn a new trade from the ground up, open to training and development.
Comfortable working in a warm/hot environment and following safety procedures.
Happy to wear PPE and adhere to workplace health and safety protocols.
Manufacturing or industrial background preferred
