Graduate Town Planner - Planning Consultancy (UK)
I'm working with a highly regarded, independent planning consultancy that is looking to appoint a Graduate Town Planner to join its growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated graduate to begin their planning career within a supportive, professional environment that offers genuine exposure to a wide range of projects.
The Opportunity
You'll be joining a respected consultancy known for delivering high-quality planning advice across residential, commercial and mixed-use developments. From day one, you'll work closely with experienced planners, gaining hands-on involvement in projects and building a strong foundation for your professional development.
Key Responsibilities
Assisting with the preparation and submission of planning applications
Supporting senior planners with planning appraisals, appeals and policy research
Liaising with local authorities, consultants and other stakeholders
Undertaking site appraisals and contributing to client reports
Keeping up to date with local and national planning policy
About You
A degree (or postgraduate qualification) in Town Planning or a related discipline
Working towards (or intending to work towards) MRTPI accreditation
Strong written and verbal communication skills
A proactive attitude with a genuine interest in the planning profession
Good organisational skills and the ability to work as part of a team
