Graduate Town Planner
Location: Leeds
A leading consultancy is looking for a motivated Graduate Town Planner to join their dynamic planning team in Leeds. This is an excellent opportunity to work on a variety of projects across residential, commercial, and mixed-use developments, gaining hands-on experience and mentorship from experienced professionals.
Key Responsibilities
- Assisting in the preparation and submission of planning applications
- Conducting planning research and policy analysis
- Supporting senior planners with client liaison and project coordination
- Engaging with local authorities and stakeholders
- Preparing reports, planning statements, and appeal documents
Requirements
- A degree (or equivalent) in Town Planning or a related discipline
- A strong understanding of the UK planning system
- Excellent research and report-writing skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ambition to work towards chartered RTPI status
